Cartoon in photoshop

I did this with an action I had downloaded for photoshop, should give any photo a pretty decent Andy Warhol/cartoon effect. Doesn't necessarily work very well on every photo, but I would deffo give it a try?!

New Trueblood comic illustrations

Some amazing new Trueblood illustrations for the comic book they do, would really like to try my hand at this kind of style!

Ive been wanting to know how to do this for ages, eventually I asked a friend :)

Canvases for Rick and Becka

My cousin came to me and asked him to do a canvas of The nightmare before Christmas for him...One of favorite films? I jumped at the chance :)
I also had this Joker canvas that I had held on to for a while...I think secretly I couldn't bear to sell it! But when Rick and Becca asked to buy it, I was more then willing to give it a happy home :)

Joker canvas for Mike and Lex

My joker canvases tend to be a good sellers, probably because Heath Ledger's interpretation of the Joker is amazing! I had my friends Mike and Lex want me to do one for them, it was the first kind I had ever done with graphic pens and markers on canvas. So it was quite challenging trying to find a balance and one that wouldn't smudge!
I eventually got there with it and they were happy with what I had done for them :)

Sisters 25th Birthday present I made her :)

I made this for my Sisters 25th Birthday, she is a MASSIVE fan of Alice in Wonderland. Its her childhood film, she also occasionally likes to believe she is in fact Alice :)
I drew it especially for her to let her know how much realllllyyy means to me and how much I love her. I put it on canvas and a t shirt for her, the t shirt mainly because at the time you couldn't for love or money get Alice in Wonderland t shirts. Of course that would all change now!
And I had many funny turns with companies because they refused to put it on a canvas and t shirts because of copyright!!! Flattering but rather annoying. Nearly had a massive argument with the Asda lady.
"Well we can print that, that's clearly copyright"
"Actually I drew it?"

Snobby but I couldn't resist...*Acts sheepish*
Anyways I asked her to take some photos so I could show you guys :)
BTW sorry I have'nt blogged in a while, started a job and just got bogged down with everything else. Also sorry for the ridiculously long blog. Ive clearly missed you guys! Ill keep you posted.
