Toy story

Just got back from the 3rd one. AMAZING!
A very personal film to me for many reasons. Takes me back to my childhood, I had my own Woody and Buzz and I absolutely loved them to bits. I remember taking one to my cousins daughters party when I was 5...and I left it. I cried for days until I got it back!
Pixar has been another major influence to me wanting to be a concept artist. They began from nothing and look at where they are now. Hopefully ill be working with something similar one day.

Toy story also reminds me of my Dad a lot. One of my favorite memories of a kid was...
"Heather?"
"Yeah Dad?"
"Reachhhh for the skyyyy"

We will always have memories wont we :')
BTW I'm instructed to draw a picture of a Buzz Lightyear. Ill keep you posted :)

Story and illustrations

I illustrated and wrote a book in memory of my dad :)
It really helped me get back to college and back into the swing of things. I think with out this I wouldn't of finished college and then gone on to university...
So thanks creativity :D

Ok shes been nagging me for months to do this for her, but she only takes pictures of her phone camera. So whilst I was in the mood I demanded she took a picture of herself on my camera and I got cracking. Just finished it now, she has such big eyes anyway so it looks quite...WOW! haha :)

This chick runs with vampires

I decided use my best friend Jake because he has these big blue eyes and I figured they would be great to work with on this picture. I decided to base it on the twilight/daybreakers kind of vampires with the onyx/golden eye/red colours. I did one of him hungry and one of him ahem...Fed. And yeah the one where he...erm..eats humans! NOM!
I tried to do myself, but I ended up cutting it out because it looked crap! There goes me becoming a vampire eh?!

Well I hope this is alot better this time! Ive worked on this for 3 hours...but somehow it felt like I really was taking my time with it and making sure I got it all right. Im VERY proud of this one.

Dwinnkkk! The red queen.

I absolutely loved the film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland/Into the looking glass and again I absolutely love Tim Burton and his usuals. I saw that Helena Bohnam Carters the Red Queen as such a fresh and different take on this character that I had to draw her. Its not yet finished, but as soon as it is. It will be on here first :)

Johnny Depp for Auntie H

Ok I went to see my Auntie for 3 weeks in a America. YES A HOLIDAY. And she wouldnt let it go for me to draw a picture of Johnny Depp for her lmao We are both BIG BIG BIG lovers of the Depp. So I was more then glad to do this for her...Still to send it to her, its just soooo expensive to post something!!!

Vector GaGa

This was the very first time I had even attempted to use illustrator and there is still along way too go...I HATED the pen tool, then I did this and I actually sort of got it. Well this summer Im going to try and practice practice practice...
I would also just like to add I received an A for my digital folder, Ive honestly never been so proud of myself. I'm not good at digital work, but I bloody tried :)

Ok this is pretty crap...But I rushed it against a deadline when I was MEGA tired lmao So tried ok?! Im one day gonna go back and make a million times a better one. Its just finding the time.
But at the time I was pretty proud of this :)
